You should check your filter monthly and replace as needed. Most filters will last about 3 months.

For better reliability, your furnace should be inspected at the beginning of every heating season.

Your A/C unit should be inspected every spring and the coils cleaned as needed for peak operating efficiency.

A:		 There is smoke coming out of my heat pump this winter. What do I do?
Relax, it is probably just water vapor from the defrost cycle. This is a normal part of the defrost cycle. If you detect a burning odor shut unit off and call B&K for service.

A:		 My furnace of A/C unit will not run. What do I do?
Check the power to the unit first. If you need assistance or service call B&K. Some problems may be resolved over the phone.
